Sexual Harassment Training
In the wake of the MeToo movement, new bills were signed into law by Governor Jerry Brown aimed at addressing sexual harassment and gender discrimination in the workplace. Sexual Harassment and Gender Discrimination Prevention Training is now mandated by the State of California starting in 2019.
Under this new bill, all business owners are required to complete their initial training by January 1, 2020, and continued training must be conducted every two years. For any new hires, their training must be completed within six months of their hire date.
